The Hungry, Hungry Hardtail

For Harry's Hungry, Hungry Hardtail we wanted to do simple things well. The frameset is a nice all-rounder design, fillet brazed in Columbus Zona with Paragon Machine Works parts including the head tube and dropouts.

We've got a 66 deg head tube angle and 74.5 deg seat tube angle.

A Fox SL 34 is specced for some fun on the trails, while a rigid Kumo fork is planned for later bikepacking adventures.

Kumo in house paint was laid down in a colour reminiscent of the sand canvas that Harry uses in his Hungry  brand bikepacking bags. Harry also designed the Kumo logo which we painted in an orange colour matched to the Fox fork.

Durable Shimano XT 11 speed gives us the stop and go, while Wolf Tooth components have provided some lovely details including the t47 BB shell, 44mm headset, chainring, grips and bar plugs.

Fox dropper post is routed into the seat tube. The bike is running 29x2.4" tyres and super fun, (wide!!) 22.2mm handlebars made by Ratking frames. The bars are held in place with a fun little custom Kumo open face 22.2mm stem.
