What better way to round out a custom steel frame, than with a custom steel fork.
This week I knocked out one Columbus MAX track fork, and one stainless crowned straight blade fork with fender/rack eyelets

Mick from Busyman Bicycles ( http://busymanbicycles.blogspot.com/) has a way with leather, his work is amazing and well worth a look!
Last week I sent him an old San Marco Rolls to get recovered with my cloud icon and it turned up today looking a treat.
Thanks Mick and keep up the good work!

End of last year, as you all know, my lovely girl and I went on a little trip to Japan.
We had the pleasure of hanging out with Rene and Sayaka from Gira Gira Chariya, a bike store in Osaka which is more commonly known over here for its online presence: tracksupermarket.com.

We went out for a beer with Rene and Sayaka after they finally managed to shepherd all the stray bike enthusiasts out of there store, it was great to have some time to chat, drink beer and consume the best Ramen I have had in ages.
They both have some awesome stories, both bike and non-bike related and I heartily suggest that you visit their store should you ever be in that neck of the woods.

I was perusing their blog (http://www.giragirachariya.com/blog.php) this morning and came across some ugly mug next to a pretty girl a bit down the page, I wish I knew what Sayaka was saying about us? Gotta learn me some more Japanese!
